Ok, here's the deal. There's a huge bridge that connects the bay. Amazing story, huh? Well, the thing is, if you give the right people the right amount of $, they will let you walk on top of the bridge. Guess what? I'm doing this tomorrow. Why would someone who's afraid of heights do this? Overcoming fears, bitches, overcoming fears...
I'm actually really nervous about this...I stood on the bridge today and I felt the familiar tingling in my feet and stomach that starts when I'm in uncomfortably high places.
The people climbing the bridge end their journey at the flags on the top. I have no idea how they get down (parachute??) ;p. The trip takes about 3 hours to get to the top. I'll have more details (assuming I survive) in a later post. On the bright side, it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow...
I checked out the bridge close up and as fate would have it, some people were beginning their ascent. They're the specks on the bridge just to the left of the "T" on the "lookout" sign.
Let's do it.
